A distinguished Brazilian musician, he graduated from the National School of Music at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and became one of the country's leading flautists, serving as the principal flautist of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra. He is also highly regarded as a conductor, having led major orchestras such as the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra, the USP Symphony Orchestra, and the orchestras of Campinas, Curitiba, Brasília, Porto Alegre, and Salvador. Founder of the Blumenau Chamber Orchestra, he has performed successfully in renowned concert halls across Europe, Latin America, and Canada. He is also a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music, holding chair 24.
