Established in the 1970s by Margarida Bornschein Langer, Lar Lapeano de Saúde, later rebranded as Lapinha, emerged with the noble mission of combatting illnesses through the application of natural therapies. Recognizing the imperative need for a holistic approach to healing, D. Margarida envisioned that true well-being encompassed not only the individual but also the Earth and the local community. Thus, in 1972, Lapinha came into being in Lapa, Paraná, marking the birth of Brazil's inaugural medical spa. This unique establishment was situated on an organic farm, surrounded by a native subtropical forest, and played a pivotal role in community development. Presently, Lapinha is under the stewardship of the third and fourth generations, with Dieter and Margareth Brepohl and their daughters Christiane, Marianne, and Gabriela at the helm.
