A special week dedicated to well-being during menopause, here at Lapinha Spa.
We know that this phase can bring many challenges, and we want to provide you with a welcoming and informative environment to discuss and learn more about how to deal with changes in your body and mind in a healthy and positive way.
During this week, we will have inspiring talks addressing the physical and emotional aspects of this phase of life, offering practical tips and guidance for the possibility of a more balanced and happy life at this stage. Additionally, we host a special cooking class focused on nutritious and delicious recipes that can help alleviate symptoms and promote overall well-being.
MEET OUR GUESTS
Dr. Marina Cunha
Graduated in Medicine from UFRJ, with 13 years of experience. With a residency in Clinical Medicine at UNIFESP and Endocrinology and Metabology at HCFMUSP, she completed an internship in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard. She has a PhD in Health Sciences from HCFMUSP and is an adjunct professor of Clinical Medicine at UFES and Faculdade Multivix. Specialist by SBEM, she is certified in Lifestyle Medicine by IBLM, and author of chapters in several books on endocrinology and healthy weight loss.
Dr. Nancy Huang
A neurologist, with undergraduate and residency training at FMUSP, in addition to a Master's and Doctorate in Neurosciences from the same institution. She is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Universidade Nove de Julho and has international certifications in Lifestyle Medicine from IBLM and CBMEV. Specializing in Mindfulness and Compassion for Health MBPM by Respira Vida Breathworks, she also works as a Health and Wellbeing Coach by Kallas Training and Consulting, focusing on patients over 12 years of age.
